John Brockbank Musical Carriage Clock Made for the Chinese Market

Made in London circa 1780, signed John Brockbank, case No. 1. 120mm. Gilt pierced double case. Cylinder escapement, 6 bells with 6 hammers, two musical tunes (CAVOT and MINUET), strike and chime on the hour.  There are four sub-dials that indicates hours, minutes, seconds, tune selection and chime/not chime selection respectively.
