20th Century French Gilt Brass Carriage Clock

Made in France circa 1910, 6.5x5.5x8.5cm. Gilt brass case, rectangular-shaped. There are enamel paintings on all four sides of the porcelain panels. The front depicts a couple reclining on the grass, gazing out over the river, and a white dial with Roman numerals and scroll ornamentation appears above it. The other sides depict a young girl seated on the grass, a young man playing a flute while leaning against a column, and a minstrel sitting against a tree.
8-day movement, going barrel, lateral lever escapement on a silvered platform, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, and blued gong. The original case comes with it.
