18K Gold and Enamel Brooch

Made circa 1840, unsigned, 47.8×54.8mm. 18K yellow gold and enamel, horizontal rectangular-shaped brooch, engraved, chiseled, and enameled frame, the back of the object made with braided hair under a protective glass. Polychrome painting on enamel on gold by an unidentified artist, showing an enormous bouquet of multicolored flowers.
