Japanese artist Kiichiro Masumura is proclaimed a “Living National Treasure” by the Japanese authorities, created this unique dial for Chopard based on the time-honored lacquering techniques of Urushi and Maki-e.
Brand History
Louis-Ulysse Chopard established L.U.C in the Swiss village of Sonvillier in 1860. The company quickly became known for its beautifully crafted, ultra-thin and highly precise pocket watches. It is still an independent family firm.
