19th Century Gilded Cane with Watch

Made circa 1860-1870 in Swiss, signed BREVETTE. 29mm, 88cm long overall. Gilded case, the original cane was made of black ebony, which was later replaced with yellow ebony.
Yellow Gold Cane, the pommel with convex glass and floral and scroll engraved bezel. Black agate dial with Arabic numerals, fancy gilt hands.

Form Watches
Form watches can be worn around the neck, carried in pockets, or used as brooches. Watchmakers were full of creativity, they got inspiration from a wide range of things to make these timepieces, such as fruits, flowers, animals, musical instruments, books, and even crucifix.
