Made in London circa the 20th century by THOMAS MERCER. Movement with full Gilt plate with fusee, bi-metallic balance with cylindrical weights and timing screws, free sprung, polished helical spring, no. 10694. The brass case and gimbal are mounted in the lacquered brass bowl within a two-tier brass-bound deck box. Silvered dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, and 56-hour running time indicator.
